Comic strip practice, 2024

​Inked on paper with pens and India ink wash; edited digitally. Created for my Comics course. We were given the dialogue and visual description for a comic strip and asked to recreate it,  without knowing that it was actually a Garfield comic. I have put the original Garfield strip below mine, but I designed mine with no knowledge of what the original looked like. Made during my sophomore year at SAIC. 14"x5".
